The Diamond DA50 is Diamond's next evolution of its single engine line.  The DA50 boosts the widest single engine piston cabin made today.   The Diamond DA50 SuperStar is Diamond's entrant into the high performance piston market.  Diamond has had years to analyze the current competition and has developed the DA50 SuperStar to offer significant advantages to what is currently available.  The interior is built to the highest quality I have seen in a light aircraft.  The baggage area is well thought out and is significantly larger than any of its competitors.  The DA50 Magnum will offer a very large full fuel payload, a massive cabin and cargo area while sipping on 6-7 gallons an hour of Jet fuel.

Q. What is going on with the DA50?

A. Like the DA42, there will be two variants of the DA50.  The Magnum will be the first DA50 available.   The DA50 SuperStar uses a 350HP Turbo Continental engine.  It will offer 5 place seating, pressurization, 3 screen G1000 and a massive cargo area.
